Totally geeked out on all the great Land Cruisers, Nissan Patrols, Land Rovers, square-headlight Wranglers, and Murphy and Pena’s XJ.

I’ve literalt ran out of shows/movies to watch. I just discovered that Zootopia is now available and find myself watching it. There’s plenty of “pixar’d cars gems”!

TGUSA is not availible on any streaming service that I am aware of.

For Netflix:

Occupied

Luther

A Faster Horse

Aquabats Supershow

Danger 5

Burn Notice

Any of the Star Trek series, currently I think all but The Original Series and Enterprise are available

YouTube:

Fifth Gear has nearly all their older seasons uploaded for free

Mighty Car Mods

Roadkill

Watch APEX if you haven’t yet. It’s a “hypercar” documentary thats pretty fun to watch. A lot of wanking it to Koeniseggnissingesndseg but if you can look past that it showcases some rad technology.

Check out Long Way Round - it has its faults, but I found it pretty compelling.

Long Way Down is also quite good.

Oh! And if you’re into LeMans, or racing in general, Truth in 24 is pretty amazing, especially the first one. Jason Statham narrates:

I didn’t like it quite as much as LWR, but I definitely still enjoyed it. My one complaint is that it seemed a bit too polished. I preferred the more gritty, amateur feel of LWR.

Highway Through Hell follows a Canadian tow company and has a lot of gnarly Tractor Trailer wrecks(and lots of BS reality show drama sadly).

“It always rains at Le Mans.”

What an epic opening sentence. I am going to have to watch that again.

Sometimes, when she least expects it, I just randomly say “It always rains at Le Mans” to my wife in my best approximation of a Jason Statham voice, and she just rolls her eyes right out of her head.

TGUSA is on Amazon and/or Hulu, I can't remember which. The later seasons were very entertaining, screw the haters :D

I just binged watched breaking bad(all 5 seasons) with my wife over the last months.

All I can say is holy shit was I ever missing out. I can’t believe I had never watched it before. It’s honestly the most entertaining tv show(not car related show exp:Top Gear) I have watched to date.

Just started watching Narcos last week. It bugged the crap out of me that Escobar was riding in a Jeep YJ in 1979. Good show though.

I like that one too, but I do wish they’d cut out all the unnecessary fake drama.

I’m 100% with you on that one. Have you ever watched “Wrecked, Life in the Crash Lane” on Hulu?

I watched that years ago when it was originally on Speed. O’Hare Towing is local to me, I see their trucks all the time. I had their niece in my class when that show was airing. Her dad owns a different local towing company.

I was bummed when they didn’t do any more seasons, so when I found Highway Through Hell, I was really happy to find another tow truck show.

Yeah, I know. I usually don’t notice that stuff, but a square headlight Jeep in ‘79 was hard for even me to miss.
